키마는 그리스어로 '물결'이라는 뜻입니다. 키마는, 키마만의 독창적인 시각으로 모든 예술 전반에 걸쳐 새로운 물결을 일으키고자 하는 소망을 이루기위해 탄생하였습니다. 평면회화, 다양한 입체작업과 공예, 그리고 디자인 분야 등 모든 예술분야를 아울러 시대적 공감을 파악하고 순수 예술의 대중화를 위해 노력하고자 합니다. 다양한 전시 및 컨설팅 프로젝트를 통해 세계 각지의 역량있는 작가들과의 조우, 동시에 젊고 잠재력있는 작가들을 발굴하는데 주력하고자 합니다. 아뜰리에 키마는 함께하는 작가들의 활동 범위를 넓히기 위해, 국내외 주요 아트페어 참가 및 타 갤러리/작가와의 협업을 추진할 것입니다. 또한 광범위하고 심오한 작품 세계를 대중이 보다 쉽게 접할 수 있도록, 아뜰리에 키마만의 어법으로 풀어가고자 합니다. 갤러리 대표의 프랑스와 미국에서의 25년 경험에서 비롯된, 차별화된 문화적 시선을 아뜰리에 키마의 정체성으로 삼고자 노력하도록 하겠습니다.

Kyma means 'wave' in Greek. Atelier Kyma was founded with the ambition of making waves across the art world through its distinct perspective and engaging composition. Our goal is to bring the public closer to the works of rising artists across all disciplines - paintings, sculptures, crafting, and design. By engaging in various exhibitions and consulting projects, we seek to create connections with established artists across the globe while also shedding light on young and promising talents. Kyma maintains a twofold approach in broadening the scope of the artists that work with us: first, we participate in major art fairs to promote our talents; second, we encourage collaboration with other galleries and creators. Founder Céline Kim spent her formative years in both France and the United States before returning to South Korea. She brings her unique cultural perspectives from her time abroad to shape the identity of Atelier Kyma.

Kyma signifie « vague » en grec. L'Atelier Kyma a été fondé avec l'ambition de faire des vagues dans le monde de l'art à travers sa perspective distincte et sa composition engageante. Notre objectif est de rapprocher le public des œuvres d'artistes émergents dans toutes les disciplines - peintures, sculptures, artisanat et design. En nous engageant dans diverses expositions et projets de conseil, nous cherchons à créer des liens avec des artistes établis à travers le monde tout en mettant en lumière de jeunes talents prometteurs. Kyma maintient une double approche en élargissant le champ des artistes qui travaillent avec nous: premièrement, nous participons à de grands salons d'art pour promouvoir nos talents; deuxièmement, nous encourageons la collaboration avec d'autres galeries et créateurs. La fondatrice Céline Kim a passé ses années de formation en France et aux États-Unis avant de retourner en Corée du Sud. Elle apporte ses perspectives culturelles uniques de son séjour à l'étranger pour façonner l'identité de l'Atelier Kyma.
